This is the league that separates the best from the rest. During this ten week singles format
we will use the same oil patterns being used on the PBA Tour that week. The format consists of
a 3 game series, following the field will be cut to a certain number depending on how many
bowlers attend that week. Then bowlers will be ranked by series bowled and will participate in
a single elimination bracket challenge. Points will be earned each week and at the end of the league we will award an overall point champion. Points will be awarded as follows:
During the 3 game set: 180-189 1 Pt.
190-199 2 Pts.
200-209 3 Pts.
210-219 4 Pts.
220 & up 5 Pts.
Bracket Points: 1st Place 10 Pts.
2nd Place 6 Pts.
(Higher game of the 2 losers in final 4) 3rd Place 4 Pts.
(Lower game of the 2 losers in final 4) 4th Place 2 Pts.
The last week of the season will be like our PBA Major Tournament. All points will double and it will be winner take all by paying out only 1st place. Also there will be no 3 game series at the start of the session. Bowlers will be ranked by the position in the overall points standings and we will have a single elimination survivor bracket. For this tournament we will be using the US Open pattern so this will be the most challenging shot of the year.
Cost: $20 each week per bowler
(House will take $10 to cover 3 game set)
Payouts: $20 will be taken each week and set aside for final payouts
$20 will be awarded to top bowler after the first 3 game set each week
Money left will be split between 1st & 2nd place in the bracket 60% - 40%
Bowling with start February 10th @ 4:00 pm and run every Sunday for 10 weeks
